We're Growing

As part of Regent Peak's success, we are excited to share that our team is growing! We have diligently planned the expansion of our team by creating a new role. We evaluated what would add the most value to our team and we quickly realized we could all benefit from administrative assistance: an office manager. After going through the discovery process and interviewing many candidates, we came to an agreement with Amey Mitchell. You will soon see has the ability to warm your heart within just a minute of speaking with her. Amey's inviting personality and smile is the addition to Regent Peak we didn't know we were missing.

Introducing Amey

Amey is the new office manager for Regent Peak Wealth Advisors. She serves as a support for our clients as well as for our team. She works to keep our daily operations and communications organized and running smoothly. She comes to us with 17 years of experience with her previous company. Her positive energy is delightful and we are thrilled she is now a part of the Regent Peak team.

Amey is originally from Santa Rosa, CA in the heart of the Sonoma County wine region. With family ties to Atlanta, GA, she recently relocated to the area to be closer to her favorite aunt, Juliette. She was raised with her older brother, Paul, and has 8 half siblings and 14 nieces and nephews. Paul is her best friend. They speak almost daily.

Athletics has held a huge role in developing skill sets for Amey such as teamwork, communication and leadership. She competed in track & field in which she competed at the state level all four years in high school with a top finish of second place her junior year. In college, she competed at the division 1 level at Fresno State University and was the 1996 Western Athletic Conference champion in the long jump. Her longest jump was 20’3”.

Amey continues to enjoy running, especially with the Back on My Feet community, a non-profit organization where she volunteers and serves on the board. She enjoys outdoor events like hiking, camping and festivals. She also enjoys attending/viewing sporting events, concerts, the theater and craft beer tastings. She volunteers at her church, Cascade United Methodist, loves meeting new people, dog sitting and kids.

Please welcome Amey as we begin to introduce her to you during our interactions!

Update: Our New Home and Working from Home

Behind the scenes we have had a lot going on these past few months. While you may recall in Q1 we shared that we are looking for new office space, only to have that put on hold because of the pandemic, we are pleased to say we're picking that back up. More to come as we finalize the lease on a long-term home base for Regent Peak. We will continue to work from home for the forseeable future as part of our business continuity plan and health and safety precautions.
